Can I sell you my designer dress?

What payments methods do you accept?

We accept the following payments methods:  Multibanco, Paypal, Transferencia and cash. 

Do you have a retail store to try dress on?

We have a showroom in Lisbon center where you can try on the looks that you want to, on appointements.

What sizes do you stock?

Currently we sizes from EU 34 to 42. We plan to expand our range from 32 to 46 soon. 

Where do you deliver?

We offer delivery Portugal wide. You can also come and pick-up your order at our showroom on appointement.

How far in advance can I make a booking?

You can make a booking up to a 3 months in advance, for now. We aim to open reservations for a year soon. 

Do you offer Maternity Looks?

We do not have (yet!) specific maternity styles but we do stock outfits that could fit a mom-to-be. 

Renting at Dress On The Go

How long can I rent a designer dress for?

Can I rent more than one look?

Of course! We totally understand that you often have 2 occasions in one weekend, or that you might be getting multiple items to go on holiday.

You are free to rent as much as you need or want, betwenn our dresses, jumpuists, sets and also shoes, bags and accessories! 

What if my rental period ends on sunday?

If you rental period ends on sunday, please return it on monday morning by 12pm.

Can I extend my rental period?

Please contact our support team at hello@dressonthego.com and we will organise a rental extension if possible. 

My item has arrived early, what should I do?

It's not a mistake, our items are shipped to you as early as possible. It does not change you rental period or charge you more. Enjoy!

What is the cleaning process?

We take care of the cleaning part, please do not wash it yourself. Our professionally dry cleaners take care of each item, so everything is basically brand new for the next customer.

What if I accidentally damage or mark my outfit?

We know that this is a rare and unfortunate event, and rest assured, we’ll work out the best solution for you. We understand accidents can happen, but we also want to keep our items in sparkling condition for other customers. 

You may be liable to pay a fee if you damage or mark your item - we reserve the right to review each case individually. 

Please email us at hello@dressonthego.com as soon as possible if you damage your item, and we can assist you on the next steps.

 

 

Am I able to tailor any of the items?

We do not allow any alterations made by the customer, however, we offer it at our showroom. 

Feel free to use fashion tape to temporarily tailor your look. Please remove it after sending back your item.

Buying Pre-Loved

What is Dress On The Go Pre-Loved?

Dress On The Go Pre-Loved can be items that we had to rent but have now decided to sell. But also hand selecting timeless vintage pieces from around the world selected by us.

Can I buy an item without renting it?

Well, renting is one thing and buying hand picked pre-loved is another. You can buy from pre-loved but not from renting items. 

Are pre-loved outfits cleaned?

All pre-loved clothes that have been previously rented have been cleaned. For curated items, they are cared and cleaned in accordance with their materials.

Where can I see the items?

You can definetly come to our showroom on appointements to see, touch and buy (or not) one of our pre-loved items.

Where do you deliver?

We offer delivery Portugal wide. You can also come and pick-up your order at our showroom on appointement.

When should I expect my Pre-Loved order to be delivered?

Items purchased are shipped out via standard shipping within 48hrs of placing the order and will typically arrive within 3-5 business days after purchase.

How do I apply a discount code to an item?

At checkout, simply copy and paste your promo code into the corresponding section.

What if my promotion code isn't working?

What if I receive an item that doesn’t fit?

We're not able yet to offer an exchange or refunds on returned items. But please get in touch with us, we will try our best to help you.

Covid 19 & Safety

Is it safe to rent looks during a pandemic? Any recommendations?

The safety of our community and our team has always been and will always be our most priority at Dress On The Go.

We have worked closely with our team to ensure we are doing the highest safety and hygiene standards at our showroom:

  • Disinfection of all the surfaces and common areas after each appointement 
  • Hand sanitising positioned across the showroom
  • The use of masks all day long and open window when possible
  • Every garment is cleaned upon every fitting using strict sanitation procedure with a Philips ComfortTouch Plus GC558/30 that disinfects the items

If you are self-isolating and have a rented item in your possession: please retain the item and contact Dress On The Go support. If you have picked or received an items that you are concerned about the cleaning process please contact our support team. 

Also, regarding our pre-loved items, the latest guidance from the WHO is that it is safe to receive packages, including clothing.
